1. Promoter

This competition is organised and promoted by Lake Y (“the Promoter”). This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2. Employees of Lake Y, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.
2.3. Internet access and an active Instagram account are required to participate.

3. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:
1️⃣ Follow @Lake.Y.Official on Instagram.
2️⃣ Like the competition post.
3️⃣ Tag a friend in the comments, including the 🎾 emoji. Both parties must be following @Lake.Y.Official.
4️⃣ Optional bonus entry: Share the post to your Instagram Story and tag @Lake.Y.Official.

3.1. Each valid comment tagging a friend counts as one entry.
3.2. Entrants may submit multiple entries, provided each entry tags a different friend.
3.3. All steps must be completed for the entry to be valid (excluding the optional bonus).

4. Competition Period

The competition opens upon the publication of the Instagram post and closes on Friday 12th December 2025 at 10:00pm (UK time).
Entries submitted after this time will not be counted.

5. Prize

5.1. The prize is a 12-month membership to Lake Y for the winner and one tagged friend (“the duo”).
5.2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or alternatives.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

6.1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
6.2. The winner will be contacted directly via Instagram Direct Message by @Lake.Y.Official after 9:00am on Saturday 13th December 2025.
6.3. The winner will also be announced on the Lake Y Instagram Story after 9:00am on the same day.
6.4. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Verification

7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and winners, including requiring proof of age, identity, residency, or confirming that all entry steps were completed.
7.2. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
– Provides false information
– Fails to meet the entry criteria
– Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the competition process

8. Data Protection

8.1. Personal data provided during the competition will be used solely for administration of the competition and prize fulfilment.

9. General

9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if necessary.
9.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, incomplete, corrupted or not received for any reason.
9.3. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
