Paddleboarding at Lake Y is a slower way to experience the lake, surrounded by open countryside, clear water and plenty of space to
breathe.
Our private freshwater lake offers a beautiful setting for both first-time paddlers and those who already know their way around a board. Head out for a relaxed paddle, build your confidence or simply spend some time on the water.
Your time on the lake
Bring your own board or hire everything you need from us.
SELF LAUNCH
£6 per member session
Bring your own paddleboard and equipment and launch during one of our
scheduled sessions.
BOARD & EQUIPMENT HIRE
£16 per member session
Leave the equipment at home. Our paddleboards are available to hire for your
session.
Sessions take place throughout the week, with timings varying
seasonally.

Wetsuit or swimwear
Wear whatever you're most comfortable paddling in. Wetsuit hire is alsoavailable, subject to availability.
A little time
Allow time to check in, get ready and enjoy the lake without rushing.
New to SUP?
Our SUP Fundamentals workshops are designed to introduce the essentials, from balance and technique
to confidence and safety on the water.
For those looking to take things further, 1-to-1 SUP coaching is also available.

The lake is only the beginning.
After your paddle, head to The Wheelhouse for coffee, lunch or something cold by the water.
Or make an afternoon of it with a session in the Sunken Sauna, pairing the heat with a refreshing lake dip.

Lake Y is a private members' club. Paddleboarding is exclusively available to members and those visiting with a Trial Pass. Trial Pass
holders can book activities at the applicable non-member rate.
Children aged 12+ may paddleboard when able to demonstrate competent technique and accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian.
