The fastest option is to press CTRL + Plus or Minus (or Apple + Plus/Minus for Mac) on your keyboard. You can also adjust text size in the View menus of most browsers.

 

On mobiles, you can pinch to zoom. Exact instructions vary if you are on iPhone or Android devices, so please check with your device manufacturer for more accessibility settings

 

Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter Users: Lake Y has accessible footpaths/ roads which can take a wheelchair and mobility Scooter. Please note however, when leaving the paths, especially in wet periods the grassed areas can become boggy.

 

Our cafe has no steps and double doors at entry points but due to space we request that mobility scooters remain outside the Cafe

Accessible Parking: There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces in the main car park.

 

Accessible Toilet: The Accessible toilet is located to the rear of the café in the toilet block

 

Assistance Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of Lake Y. Should you have any specific requirements please contact enquiries@lake-y.co.uk

 

Carer Support: All activities at Lake Y follow a comprehensive Risk Assessment Process. Should an activity be deemed accessible then free access will be provided for one to one carers. For the free carer ticket we request proof of eligibility, which can be a carer card or PIP letter sending to enquiries@lake-y.co.uk with a contact number.
