Date & Location
07 Jun 2026, 12:00 – 14:00
Lake Y, Hayfield Ln, Auckley, Doncaster DN9 3NP, UK
About the Event
£45 per person | Ages 12+ | Max 12 guests
Ease into the world of stand-up paddle-boarding with a relaxed, sociable session designed as much for connection as it is for learning. Set against the backdrop of Lake-Y, this small-group workshop blends expert guidance with a welcoming, club-like atmosphere, the kind where conversations continue long after you’ve stepped off the water.
Ideal for beginners, you’ll be introduced to the essentials of paddle-boarding with a generous instructor-to-guest ratio, ensuring plenty of personal attention and confidence-building along the way. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with the skills and understanding to paddle independently on inland waters (ability permitting on the day).
And as with all Lake-Y sessions, the experience doesn’t end when you dock, guests are encouraged to gather afterwards at the onsite Wheelhouse Café for coffee, conversation, and a chance to get to know fellow members of the growing Lake-Y community.
