Lake Y, Hayfield Ln, Auckley, Doncaster DN9 3NP, UK

About the Event

£40 per person | Ages 12+ | Max 30 guests

A calm, confidence-building introduction to open water swimming, designed for those taking their first strokes beyond the pool. This is as much a social gathering as it is a workshop, bringing together like-minded swimmers in a supportive, unhurried setting at Lake-Y.

Whether you’re a capable pool swimmer or just starting out, moving into open water can feel like a leap. This session is designed to ease that transition, with expert coaching, a considered pace, and plenty of reassurance along the way. With a maximum 10:1 swimmer-to-coach ratio, you’ll receive attentive guidance throughout, helping you settle into the rhythm of open water with confidence.

As with all Lake-Y sessions, the experience extends beyond the water, guests are invited to continue the conversation over coffee at the onsite Wheelhouse Café, a chance to connect and become part of the growing Lake-Y community.
