General Swim – 2 hours

• Tuesday: 5 pm – 6 pm

• Friday: 5 pm – 6 pm

• Sunday: 11 am – 12 pm

Yes, annual membership is required. Membership gives access to Lake-Y and a range of benefits including discounts off services and products from our store & coaching website. Customers can have only one trail session before membership is required!

It is much better to book in advance. This is to help us plan our safety cover and also ensure we have space for everyone. If the session is full, walk in bookings will not be allowed!

Once our session capacity is reached the booking system won't allow any more bookings. However, you will be added to the waitlist and if a place becomes available you'll be notifed by email.

Yes we do allow non wetsuit paddleboarding. All paddlers must wear a bouyancy aid whilst on the water.

For junior paddlers aged under 18 years of age wetsuits are compulsory. Unless otherwise agreed by the lead safety officer.

Our experienced safety crew will be on hand to offer advice and ensure you have a safe swim.

We have beach hut style changing booths available for you to use. We provide beach-hut-style changing booths for your convenience but you’re also welcome to change by the lakeside, just be sure to do so with discretion.

At busy times the changing booths may be in demand so please be swift and leave them clean & tidy for the next user.

Please take any rubbish with you. Any personal items and clothing left in the changing rooms whilst you swim will be removed.

Toilet faciites are available on Lake-Y.

Paddleboarding at Lake-Y is open all year round.

Due to our risk assessments & direction from our insurers we currently have a minimum age of 12 years old. This is taken as of the age on the 31st of December of the current year. So if a junior is 12 before the end of the year then they can join and swim.

Please note that juniors will be required to have a safety brief and swim assessment at their first paddleboard session. After this, they will be free to paddleboard unsupervised. Our crew may advise certain restrictions if there is a concern around an individuals ability, such as insisiting they swim with an adult.

All under 16 year olds must be accompanied to the session by a parent or guardian who must remain present at the session at all times.

We’re always on the lookout for volunteers, and from time to time we have a range of roles available. If you’re interested in becoming a support or safety paddler, we provide full training and create opportunities for our crew to enhance their skills and grow.

Yes we do! We offer top-quality raceskin wetsuits for hire at just £10 per session. These premium suits combine flexibility with exceptional comfort.

On arrival, simply check in with one of our friendly crew members, who will take your measurements and ensure you’re fitted with the perfect size suit.

Dogs are allowed on site, but are not permitted on the beach. Dogs must remain on a lead at all time and all dog litter must be removed and placed in a general waste bin immediatley.

Spectators are welcome to attend when accompanying and supporting participants.

Please be aware that anyone under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. All visitors must keep a safe distance from the water’s edge, slipway, and jetties. Kindly follow all instructions given by site personnel and observe posted signage at all times.

Pre-booked sessions and appointments are non-refundable. However, if you cancel within the applicable cancellation window for that session or service, the credit will remain on your Evolve Endurance account for use during your next visit.

Site closing times can change depending on the activities taking place. Before leaving your car in the car park, please check with site management (ask at the café) to confirm the closing time and ensure it’s acceptable to do so.

Do not assume the site will close at the advertised times or that parking will automatically be permitted.
